Groomes country house provided a perfect family getaway for us. the spacious rooms easily accommodated our group, and the cozy log burner kept us warm during the unexpected snow. the games room was a hit with the kids, keeping them entertained for hours. And the hot tub under the starry sky was a relaxing treat for the adults after a long day of activities. Pete and Ed, the hosts, were incredibly welcoming and helpful, enhancing our overall experience. We also took up the recommendation to dine at the Bat and Ball, where we savored delicious meals. Overall, Groomes exceeded our expectations, and we would gladly return for another family vacation.
